Nazareth 2025 Updates

Folks, this is just a reminder that MartinFest is only days away, and your festival organizers at Guitars and Friends, Inc. have incurred startup expenses for the event that significantly exceed our collections thus far. With that in mind, we ask you to consider making a donation of any amount to Guitars and Friends to help us close the gap and meet our expenses. Your gift, no matter how small, will help to insure that this year’s and future MartinFests will go off without a hitch. Thank you.

The MartinFest Planning Committee

Your "Martinfest" 2025 Planning Committee has been working behind the scenes to get all the necessary pieces in place for us to enjoy this year's event Friday through Sunday July 25 -27. While those are the official days, many come on Thursday and stay until Monday or Tuesday.

Due to some last minute cancellations there are some rooms available at the Holiday Inn Express in Easton where we have the run of the place similar to what we had at the Comfy years ago.   You need to send an email to Jim@guitarsand friends.org to get our rate. We are excited to get together with all of you at this new venue!

Many of you may be wondering why a registration fee is being charged when there was no fee previously.  The reason is that the UMGF no longer sponsors, organizes or covers the costs of our gathering.   For legal and liability reasons, we have had to start from scratch to create a new non-profit entity (Guitars & Friends, Inc.), file its corporate documents, file a tax exemption application, which has been granted, obtain insurance, pay for this website, rent the hotel banquet facilities to use as our jam space, and rent the pavilion at Nazareth Boro Park for three days.  We estimate that these costs total will total $6000 for this year’s event.  Although we hope that the registration fee ($75 Individual, $100 Family) will cover our costs, additional tax-exempt donations may be needed and will be most welcome!

Sincerely,

The Planning Committee
