We’re trying a bit of organization in an effort to accommodate all types of playing interests
We are going to designate one of the hotel’s large playing rooms as the song circle room (“Morgan Room,” so to speak) and the other large room will be for general jamming, as folks see fit. Since the two areas are separated by only a portable wall, we’ll need to be aware of volume levels in the jam room.
We will have smaller rooms and the lobby for smaller breakout sessions (eg Celtic, Bluegrass, Fingerpicking, etc.) Whiteboards will be placed by the playing rooms/hospitality and small group playing suites as well as in the lobby where you can announce your specialty breakout session. (For example: “Fingerpicking in room A1B at 1 pm.”)
Hopefully, this will allow all participants a chance to play and sing as they chose during the ‘Fest.
