Educational Side Sessions

Care to pick the brains of some folks who know quite a bit about what they’ve been doing successfully for quite some time? Stop in and bring your guitar and take notes. You may go home smarter than you came! Sign-ups at the hotel. Do you have something you’d like to present? Drop us a note and we will work with you to set it up.

Dates and Times To Be Determined

• Basic Guitar Setup (John Hall). John will present basic guitar setup info and identify what to look for when problems may arise.

• Alternate Tunings (Spoon Phillips). Spoon will present information on using alternate tunings to vary your playing. The workshop may include demonstrations of alternate tunings by other UMGF members.

• Recording with Audigo (Rick Benjamin). Rick will give a primer on recording with the Audigo wireless mic and mobile studio app.

• Thumbpicking Tips and Tricks (Len Rosenberg). Len will present a lesson on thumbpicking.

  He may also be joined by a special guest to demonstrate the material.
